As if out of a novel, your out on safari, its early morning, the massive red colored sun quickly rising on the horizon causing beautiful color transitions to the southern hemisphere, the shifting of temperature currents flowing across the surface of the grassland you suddenly feel as you traverse the land. All of a sudden, towards the distance an unbelievable, yet recognizable image appears on top of a dirt hill that catches your sight. Its unavoidable, its accelerating, there is no question about it, you've found what you dream finding. The legendary cheetah. What I just described really happened. Its what I experienced during our September 2017 safari in South Africa. This was the image I captured of a vigilant male Cheetah directing its penetrating sight across the land.
The Cheetah is an endangered specie. A percentage of the proceeds of my image's print sale benefits wildlife conservation.
